LA SALLE DE RÉCEPTION

Our beautiful, newly renovated, function room at Château de Meux features fabulous original beams and now displays as a focal point the Château's former cognac making equipment.

​

La Salle de Réception also has a large, ornamental fireplace and double doors at the archway end of the room allow for a grand entrance. The room is 15.5 x 7.5 metres plus kitchen and toilets.

​

There is also space for an extra catering marquee should this be necessary.

THE CATERING KITCHEN

 To aid in catering for larger groups we have a party kitchen. Conveniently situated to the rear of La Salle de Réception and adjacent to the covered outside eating area it is ideal for preparing and cooking food for bigger numbers.

​

Boasting a Lacanche cooker with five gas burners and two ovens, a powerful extractor fan, an American style fridge / freezer with ice maker, large double sinks, a dishwasher and a stainless steel food preparation table it is a very useful facility.

​

The kitchen back door leads to the service gate for the property which gives easy access for caterers.

COVERED DINING/ACTIVITY AREA

Giving much needed shade in the summer this covered activity / dining area is a great place to play, eat, chat or generally ’chill out’. 

 

The toy library is situated  at the top of some adjacent stone steps.
